Arthur Taylor Prescott (1863-1942) graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La., in 1884. The Society of the Alumni of Louisiana State University has existed since at least 1884. It was incorporated under the leadership of Lewis S. Graham on June 19, 1905, to maintain contact among graduates and former students, award student scholarships, and support the university financially.
